We are aware that wedding speeches, games and songs are an important tradition in Denmark (unlike Portugal) and we would like to incorporate them in our wedding celebration.
Regarding the speeches and in order to allow all guests to fully participate and enjoy this tradition, please bear in mind that the majority is not fluent in Danish. However, English is spoken (and fairly well understood) by most of the guests.
Nonetheless, it would be much appreciated if the speeches could be kept short (less than 5 min each). If you wish to send us a Danish copy of your speech or song in advance, we'll try to provide a Portuguese/English translation for the other guests. |

A bus will depart from Hotel Casa Branca, where the tour begins. Eventually we may pick up people at other hotels, but that is to be confirmed. |

During this guided-by-the-bride tour of the old town (by bus and a bit of walking), held in English and a mix of Portuguese/Danish, you will see the UNESCO-protected sites and you will get to know a part of the history of Porto and its inhabitants, as well as the more modern part of town. The tour will end with a guided tour in a Port Wine cellar followed by tastings. |

Transfer bus from Hotel Casa Branca to S. Bento train station (in the centre of Porto). Please make your own arrangements if you are at another hotel, or ask for our assistance. |

Day trip to Douro wine region (paid individually, more or less 70 euros per adult) |

During this day tour, you will go by train (which runs along the banks of the river Douro with breathtaking views!) to the city of Régua, a Port Wine centre in the upper Douro valley. Soon after, you will embark on our cruise back to Porto. During the cruise, lunch will be served onboard and we will pass through the locks of 2 dams on the river Douro. |
